Rovereto is a few kilometers from the shores of Garda Lake. It’s a simple itinerary to ride on a bicycle, a day trip to anyone in the area.
The route is about 20 km long and is also easy for those who pedal with children.
From Rovereto take the Vallagarina Cycle Path, pleasant route reserved for cyclists where they often encounter cyclotourists including foreigners, to the town of Ala and then Mori.
Here the bicycle trail takes you to the discovery of one of the most important protected biotopes in Trentino: Lake Loppio.
Actually the lake was drained in 1940, today is just a marshy area, but near it is the Sant’Andrea archaeological site.
The track continues to the gates of downtown Nago, here you go on an unpaved country road that allows you to have fun on some easy climb. The road also offers wonderful panoramic views of Lake Garda, which is only a couple of kilometers away.
Then a long descent leads straight into the historic center of Torbole, a town renowned for mountain bikers, cycling, sailing, windsurfing and free climbing.
